Elvis Sun 78rpm Vinyl Special Releases

Elvis Sun 78rpm Vinyl Special Releases

With the 40th Anniversary of Elvis' passing comes a special release. Record players sold today are increasingly adding the 78RPM speed to the norm and these 5 magnificent Sun 10" (inch) replica singles play at 78RPM. This is the first time since Elvis Sun replicas produced in the 1970's, that have been made to play the original 78RPM speed. Since then some were only made at 45rpm.

Each of the 5 Sun replicas have the original etched numbers included with the appropriate song sides and are by far the most original Sun replicas made. All the labels are perfect (as the original) in size, accuracy, and color. All the singles come in the same type sleeves as sold with the original releases. The sound quality is excellent with the original Sun sound recordings (including That's All Right) and is pressed on heavy stock vinyl.

This is a strictly low limited number release and an extra low limited number release of a CRYSTAL-CLEAR version in a clear polybag. A first time ever in this version for any Elvis Sun single replica produced.
Available in true all cystal-clear vinyl and original black vinyl.

Roustabout - FTD

Roustabout - FTD

We’ve had original soundtrack recordings by Elvis in the past and we needn’t dwell on their great success, but the new “ROUSTABOUT” album is undoubtedly on of the finest we’ve had!  “It’s A Wonderful World” and “Big Love Big Heartache” are delivered smoothly to a smooth Latin-flavored accompaniment. Moist of the tunes however, are the hard-rocker variety, especially “Hard Knocks and “There’s A Brand New Day On The Horizon.” For a special gas, check out the lyrics on “Little Egypt” and “Poison Ivy League.”  We’ve got great music, a great cover, the movie tie-in, advertising and promotion support.

53 years later, FTD is pleased to announce the long awaited “Classic Album” version of “ROUSTABOUT”. Reaching #1 on Billboard in February 1965, it would Elvis’ last chart topping album until “ALOHA FROM ELVIS VIA SATELLITE” in 1973. Packaged in 7” format with a full color 16-page memorabilia booklet, it contains previously unreleased material and the recently discovered “I’m A Roustabout” track.

Hot Summer in 1973 - SR Records

Hot Summer in 1973 - SR Records

The forthcoming release from the "SR" label is titled "Hot Summer in 1973 " and will feature the unreleased show from Las Vegas August 19, 1973 DS.
This recording is taken directly from a first generation of original tape. The afternoon show is previously unreleased show.

August 1973, Elvis Is back for his last summer season..The 1973 was begun in the better way, with the Aloha special at least commercial talking…But the things turned immediately toward the wrong direction..the man had too weight to bear in his human shoulders... But as always for Elvis the music keeps his mind alive and overall active..so the best moments of our man is when He is on the stage..The August 1973 is no exception..

The August 19 present Elvis in positive mood , the show is solid and well performed...Elvis deliveries some killer version of My Boy and You Gave Me a Mountain, keeping steady part of the show the two classic Suspicious Minds and An American Trilogy and delighting the audience with the with the two early rocker Mystery Train/Tiger Man & Trouble.

Talking about the show , the show is solid and well performed no too long in accord with the classic Las Vegas show, we have 46 minutes only, but Elvis worked hard performing 19 songs, classic representation of his best repertoire of Vegas.. Talking of highlight of the show, we can say is hard however is undeniable that Elvis’ soul lives now in the power ballad like You Gave a Mountain or My Boy, surely they are the best moment of the show…...

This recording come from an early generation copy of the master tape, the sound quality is very good. The sound was restored in matter to remove the background noise and preserving Elvis’ voice and trying to achieve best possible results. We have spent hours in the studio over the digital restoration of the sound, to give you the chance to hear it with pleasure.

This new CD will come with the classic deluxe Digipack four panels (12x12 cm), containing a collection of live photographs from the actual Season . All the copies will come hand numbered and individually sealed and Please remember!! This is a LIMITED HAND NUMBERED 400 COPIES!!!!!!
